Old appliances,hauled away.

We disconnect it, carry it, and haul it

Appliances are heavy, awkward, and often stuck in the worst possible spot — a basement, a second-floor laundry closet, a tight galley kitchen. IronHaul handles the entire removal: we uncouple it from the wall, dolly it out, and load it, so you never strain your back or scratch your floors.

Most appliance pickups across Alexandria, Arlington and Fairfax are done the same or next day. You point at the unit; we do the rest.

Appliances we take

  • Refrigerators, freezers and mini-fridges
  • Washers and dryers (stacked or side-by-side)
  • Water heaters (electric and gas, disconnected)
  • Dishwashers, stoves, ovens and ranges
  • Microwaves, wine coolers and window AC units
  • Dehumidifiers and small kitchen appliances

Disposed of the right way

Appliances can't just go in the trash — many contain refrigerants, metals, and components that require proper handling. We take units to the correct recycling and processing facilities, recover working parts and scrap metal where possible, and make sure refrigerant-bearing units are handled to code. It's the responsible route, and it's built into your price.

Upfront pricing, no hourly meter

You get an all-in price before we start — based on the unit and access, never an hourly clock. We confirm the number on arrival, and you only pay once it's loaded and gone.

Refrigerator and water heater specialists

Fridges and water heaters are the two we get called for most. Both are heavy and both need care — a full-size fridge down a flight of stairs, or a water heater that needs draining and uncoupling first. Our crews do these constantly and come equipped for them.

Good to know

Appliance removal, answered.

Do you disconnect the appliance for me?
Yes. We handle straightforward disconnections — unplugging, uncoupling water lines, and draining a water heater. For gas lines we recommend the supply be shut off in advance; let us know the setup when you call and we'll advise.
Can you take a refrigerator with the doors on?
Yes — leave it as is. We remove it fully assembled and handle it safely. Refrigerant-bearing units are taken to facilities equipped to process them properly.
How much does appliance removal cost?
It depends on the unit and access (stairs, basement, etc.), but you always get an upfront, all-in price before any work starts — no hourly billing. Call with the details for a quote on the spot.
Do you recycle old appliances?
We route appliances to proper recycling and metal-recovery facilities rather than the landfill wherever possible. Responsible disposal is included in your price.
