The whole job — drain, break down, haul, clean up

Hot tubs are one of the hardest things to get rid of yourself: they're bolted together, full of stale water, surprisingly heavy, and often boxed in by a deck or fence. IronHaul handles the entire removal. We drain the tub, cut and dismantle the shell and cabinet, carry every piece out, and haul it all away in one trip.

You don't rent a saw, wrestle the shell, or make a dozen dump runs. We come equipped, do the work, and sweep the area when we're done — usually same or next day across Northern Virginia.

Spas and tubs we remove

  • In-ground and above-ground hot tubs and spas
  • Inflatable and portable tubs
  • Swim spas (larger jobs — call for a quote)
  • Tubs on decks, patios, or in the yard
  • Storm-damaged or long-abandoned units

Tight access? That's the norm

Most tubs are wedged onto a deck or behind a gate. Our crews plan the break-down and carry route around fences, stairs, and narrow side yards so the shell comes out in manageable pieces without tearing up your property.

Upfront pricing for a big job

Hot tub removal is priced by the size of the unit and the difficulty of access, and you get a firm number before we start — no hourly billing, no surprise add-ons. We confirm on site once we see the setup.

Hauled and disposed of responsibly

We separate metal, and recyclable components where possible, and dispose of the rest properly, so most of the tub stays out of the landfill.

Good to know

Hot tub removal, answered.

Do I need to drain the hot tub first?
No — we drain it as part of the job. If it's convenient to drain ahead of time it can speed things up, but it's not required.
Do you cut up the hot tub on site?
Yes. Most tubs are dismantled or cut into sections on site so they can be carried out safely through gates, side yards and stairs, then hauled away in one trip.
How much does hot tub removal cost?
It depends on the tub's size and how hard it is to access, but you get a firm, all-in price before any work starts — no hourly billing. Call with the details and a photo if you have one for an accurate quote.
Will you damage my deck or yard?
Our crews plan the break-down and carry route to protect your deck, fence and landscaping. We sweep and clean the area once the tub is gone.

Heavy, bolted-down, waterlogged — no problem.
